Coach’s Notes: Delaney was a major threat in the midfield this summer. Delaney has a strong

drive on the attack and finishes with accurate and powerful shooting. She is aggressive on the

circle and her speed is crucial in transition. On defense, Delaney is a strong one-on-one

defender and anticipates the passes. She is very coachable and always looking for feedback on

her performance. She has strong stick skills and good instincts on both ends of the field.

 My name is Cassie Speno, and I have had the pleasure of coaching Delaney for the last three years, as the Head Coach for the All Lax Select 2025 team. Delaney is a goal-oriented, dedicated, and self-motivated individual. I thoroughly enjoy my time working with Delaney, as she is a coachable athlete, who is determined to get better every time she steps on the field. She is a fierce competitor by nature, which makes her an incredible performer under pressure. From the moment I saw Delaney play I knew she would be an IMPACT player. When you are watching a game, it is hard to take your eyes off Delaney, as she commands a presence. She is incredibly shifty and versatile both defensively and offensively. Her strength, physicality and speed make Delaney unstoppable. When Delaney is looking to score, there is no doubt she will execute and find the back the net. If you are looking for a game-changer, play maker, and energy shifter who is an extra asset on the draw, Delaney is your player. She has an outstanding work ethic, and always rises to the occasion when her best is needed and UA 150 would be lucky to have her! 

I am beyond pleased to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Delaney Falk. I am fortunate 

enough to have the pleasure of coaching this respectful, dedicated, and hardworking young woman as 

an assistant coach for the Southern Regional High School Girls Lacrosse Program. The way that she has 

handled herself on and off the field has proven her to be a valuable asset to our program. Delaney's 

ability to stay even keel and adjust to our programs expectations in such a short amount of time has 

been impressive to say the least. Early on, Delaney has demonstrated to her teammates and to the 

coaching staff to be a young woman of exceptionally high character.     

As a young player who is making a significant impact at our varsity level immediately, Delaney has 

dedicated herself to building chemistry with all her teammates. Her positivity and fearless play on the 

field has helped her fit right in among a senior heavy and talented varsity group. Although she is only a 

freshman, she has shown that she has the ability and has gained the confidence of others to lead through 

on field play and team building exercises that our program has done throughout the preseason. For all 

of these reasons, I am strongly recommending that you consider giving Delaney Falk a spot on the All 

Lax Touring Team. Thank you.
